AB As a result of urban agglomeration and conurbation phenomenon, 1960 CondominiumAct is born to organize and regulate, on the one side, property rights on different apartments and, on the other side, co-ownership on common areas at the same building; thisis, condominium or horizontal property.Just as this regime comes into existence, it has to come to an end: on this purpose weWill analyze the “Imperial Building” case, located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and demolished more than twenty years ago, to look into the responsibility originated on thestructure collapse, ruin and demolition statement and, specifically, condominium extinction due to building destruction, which is the central topic of this project.
