This is because its objective is none other than to provide knowledge and reasoning to the traditional web by structuring information based on the meaning that people give to linguistic expressions and the contribution of this virtue to machines so that process the information, understand it, and provide search results in accordance with the real demands of users. This is achieved through the analysis of the data obtained and the interconnection of formal specifications. Here is when the concept of ontology appears and is used, which is defined as the specification of a contextualization that serves to organize the information. The implementation of the ontology this project is about has been carried out through an ontology editor called Protégé. The ontology developed consists of an electrical installation that includes the basic elements of an installation according to the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation and ITC (Complementary Technical Instruction). Interconnecting these elements through their properties and individuals, a result is reached that allows the ontology to be compared with an installation of a real building with 10 dwellings.
