AB This paper is an approximation to the regulatory framework of artists in publicshows from the point of view of labor law. It is a special labor relationship that ischaracterized by temporary work and, therefore, with peculiarities that need to bethoroughly addressed. For that reason, we start from the “Real Decreto1435/1985, de 1 de Agosto”, which shares the same essence of the Workers’Statute Law that will be used on an additional form, and it has been recentlymodified, for the first time, by “Real Decreto-ley 5/2022, de 22 de marzo”. Weare going to approach it from basic concepts, as who is considered an artist, whatis artist work or a public show; people involved in that work relationship, theirrights and legal duties, and the legal regime where we can find work relationshipspecificities like the contract period or work contract expiration.
