In particular, inrecent years there has been a significant increase in the number ofcompanies or employers who have decided to temporarily post workersin order to provide a transnational service.In this context, numerous conflicts have arisen in relation to which lawshould be applied to this employment relationship: the law of the Stateof origin - understood as the country in which the worker habituallyperforms his work - or the law of the host State - that is, the country towhich the worker is posted to provide a service.The application of the Law of the State of origin within the framework ofthe European Union has led many companies to transfer theirproduction apparatus to countries with less strict labor regulations andless favorable conditions for workers, in order to save production costs,i.e. the phenomenon of social dumping. For this reason, the EuropeanUnion has adopted numerous rules to prevent abuse and fraud to thedetriment of posted workers.The aim of this work is to analyze the rules applicable to the crossborder and temporary posting of workers for the provision of services.To this end, a brief study of the legal regime relating to the internationalemployment contract in the framework of Private International Law hasbeen carried out beforehand.
