T1 Apuntes para una lectura bakhtiniana de Changing Places y Small World de David Lodge

AB This paper presents an interpretation of David Lodge’s ChangingPlaces and Small World from the perspective of Bakhtin’s theory. Theanalysis of the two novels revolves around such concepts as grotesquerealism, dialogism, and the chronotope. I suggest that the use of theseconcepts in Changing Places and Small World illustrates some of thecontroversial points in Bakhtin’s theory.
