AB The main goal of this article is to analyse the daily experiences between populations andanimals in Portuguese towns in the Middle Ages. We will exclusively use legal sources, moreexactly, the Commons and Laws of Ribacôa cities (Alfaiates, Castelo Bom, Castelo Rodrigoand Castelo Bom), Guarda, Santa Torres Novas, Évora and Beja. On the one hand, weintend to make know how the relationships between populations and animals was, havingas key axis the conflicts situations and, on the other hand, to observe the solutions and themeasures taken by the municipal authorities to solve the problems caused by both parts.
