Pelvic floor training and biofeedback therapy are often used as treatment. For this reason, will the use of ICT as a monitoring tool improve the treatment of incontinence and its adherence? Objective: To study the effectiveness of ICT in the treatment of urinary incontinence and to improve adherence to urinary incontinence treatment. Methodology and design: This is a prospective analytical study of cases and controls. It consists of 4 training sessions for professionals and an annual follow-up of a group of cases that use an application with monitoring through an intravaginal device and a control group that performs conventional pelvic floor exercises. Once the project is over, the participants will fill out a satisfaction survey. Scope of study: Midwife and primary care nursing consultations at health centers in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Study subjects: Women between the ages of 18-35 who have been diagnosed with SUI in the last 3 years or diagnosed at the time of recruitment and who voluntarily sign the informed consent. Women with a language barrier, cognitive impairment or illiterate, with physical limitations or dependents, with surgical treatment, with previous parity or pregnant or with psychiatric pathologies will not be able to participate in this study. Variables: As an independent variable would be the ICT (the application) and as dependent variables would be age, the time they have been diagnosed, the severity of incontinence and the level of satisfaction. Data analysis: The data will be analyzed through a statistical program in its most modern version, SPSS 27.0. Expected results: Successful results are expected. It is expected to demonstrate that adherence in the group of cases will be greater thanks to reminder notifications. The questions about the perception of quantity of exhaust and how it affects their quality of life will be where greater changes are perceived in the results of the cases than of the controls. In addition, it will increase the autonomy and self-care of those who use the application thanks to the motivation, the ease of checking the quality of their exercises and the security that it gives them to see that they are doing it correctly. Finally, it is expected that the subjects are satisfied and willing to recommend the use of applications for the treatment of urinary incontinence.
