AB For several decades neoliberalism has been installed in our society, producing a socialtransformation of which education has been a witness and accomplice, and which has endedup being perfectly coupled to this sound, dancing to the rhythm of the demands of capitalismand responding to the mercantilist and privatizing logics it promotes. Thus, education as aright, as a public good and social responsibility that tries to guarantee equal opportunities isno longer the model pursued, now an education that responds to the interests of the market ispursued, an education used to disseminate and establish this model as an essential part of theideology and habits of people. This is materialized with the construction of the neo-subject orneoliberal subject, a profile that is explored in depth throughout this study, in which theobjective is to discover to what extent this is immersed in the educational system and in thestudent body, specifically in the university. The research is based on a documentary reviewand a questionnaire as a quantitative study technique, from which the results are obtained andfrom which the final conclusions are discussed.
