HF-LPME was carried out using 1-octanol asextraction solvent followed by a back extraction step with cyclohexane. The different parameters thataffect HF-LPME such as sample pH, ionic strength, extraction time, stirring rate, extraction temperatureand back extraction conditions were investigated. The optimized conditions involved the extraction of10 mL of sample without pH adjustment or addition of salt during 75 min under a stirring of 850 rpm at60 C and subsequent desorption with 200 mL of cyclohexane for 10 min in an ultrasonic bath. Themethod was validated in terms of calibration and recovery studies using dibutyl phthalate-d4 as internalstandard. The developed procedure gave satisfactory recovery (74e120%) and relative standard deviationvalues (<20%) for the studied PAEs in mineral, tap, pond and waste water samples YR 2018 FD 2018 LK http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/36088 UL http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/36088 LA en NO Chemosphere 201 (2018) 254-261https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chemosphere.2018.02.180 DS Repositorio institucional de la Universidad de La Laguna RD 22-may-2024
