AB The Master's thesis titled "Teaching Innovation through the Application ofDigital Tools for the Development of Spatial Vision: The Chimneys ofPopular Architecture in Lanzarote" focuses on the integration of 3D digitaltools and technical drawing to study the chimneys of Lanzarote'svernacular architecture. Through practical activities, it aims to promoteunderstanding of architecture and cultural heritage by deconstructing andconducting a detailed analysis of the forms and structures of the chimneys,with the goal of providing an educational and innovative experience thatcombines technology and drawing. We specifically emphasize theutilization of digital tools like SketchUp and augmented reality to modeland visualize the chimneys in nearby environments, enabling students toexplore and gain a better comprehension of their architecturalcharacteristics. Naturally, the role of technical drawing is emphasized as afundamental tool for the precise decomposition and representation of thechimney forms, fostering technical and creative skills in students. Inessence, this project aims to provide students with an enriching educationalexperience that stimulates their capacity to comprehend and visualizespace. Additionally, through this proposal, we highlight a significant part ofthe Canary Islands' heritage, which is the popular architecture of Lanzaroteisland.
