For this issue, the alternative that has been evolving the most inrecent decades has been the use of renewable energies, which have great prospects for thefuture. Into the maritime industry one of the fastest growing energies is solar energy. Thisalternative, although it is adequate in terms of saving emissions into the atmosphere and fuel, presents great challenges related to the optimization of the panels due to orientation, safety, storage and maintenance. In this Master's Thesis, an installation of solar panels has been carried out on the upperdeck of the high-speed vessel ''Volcán de Taidía'', which will be used to supply clean energyto a set of electric car chargers located on deck 2 of the study vessel. . To ensure that theenergy remains constant throughout the day, a set of batteries has been installed, if due toweather conditions it is not possible to supply it, the energy will be supplied by the ship's owngenerators. A study has been carried out of the cost of the installation, energy savings andCO2 emissions that the installation would entail. And finally, it describes the maintenance required by the equipment and the changesin safety due to potential fire risks from electric vehicles YR 2024 FD 2024 LK http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/36885 UL http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/36885 LA es DS Repositorio institucional de la Universidad de La Laguna RD 20-oct-2024
