In response to this, and contrary to theapproaches based on computer tutorials, this paper introduces aset of laboratory experiments that analyze the abovephenomenon from a practical perspective. The aim hereby is tovisually demonstrate and clarify the main concepts of thephotoelectric effect using real equipment. Specifically, therelationship between incident lighting (across differentwavelengths and intensities) and the generated photocurrent isstudied using a specially designed simple device. The experimentsfurthermore calculate the Planck constant, elucidate the linearrelationship between photon energy and frequency, and provethat the stopping voltage is independent of the incident lightintensity. Hence, the proposed experiments may foster a deeperunderstanding of the corpuscular nature of light among students.
