AB This Final Master’s Project focuses on the comparative analysis of working conditions in thehospitality industry in the provinces of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas, two prominenttourist areas in Spain. The differences, similarities and areas for improvement in the workingenvironments of these provinces are examined, with the objective of obtaining a global visionof the labor situation in the Canary Islands. Through this analysis, the aim is to promote thedesign of more effective policies and the improvement of the quality of life of employees.This approach is important because tourism is one of the main sources of income in theislands, and labor conditions directly affect the quality of services offered.
