AB This Final Degree Project focused on investigating the influence of visual stimuli associatedwith political parties on citizens' political trust, political participation, and ideologicalself-placement. Through a survey-experiment, two versions of a questionnaire were designed,each featuring visual elements related to the Popular Party (PP) and the Spanish SocialistWorkers' Party (PSOE), respectively. The initial sample consisted of 77 participants, of which31 completed the modified questionnaires. The questions aimed to measure political interest,perception of the political system, perceived capacity to participate in politics, confidence inone's ability to participate, and ideological self-placement. The process included descriptiveanalysis and normality tests to assess the distribution of responses, followed by statisticaltests such as the Mann-Whitney U test to contrast the hypotheses. This approach allowed exploring how political communication and visual stimuli can influence citizens' perceptionsregarding various aspects of the political system and political participation.
