AB Council Directive 90/270/EEC, of May 29, 1990, focuses on the protection of workerswho use display screens in the workplace. This establishes measures to evaluate andminimize the risks associated after daily use.Employers must ensure that both the equipment and the environment are establishedpolitely and according to established criteria. All this through risk assessment, adaptationto equipment, environmental design and work organization.The alleged directive aims to prevent possible health consequences such as eye strain,musculoskeletal problems and mental workload, ensuring a safe and stable workenvironment.
