AB The objective of this work is to carry out an analysis of Directive 93/104/EC,of the Council of November 23 on certain aspects of the organization of worktime. By which the minimum daily and weekly rest periods, annual vacations,breaks and maximum duration of weekly work are established, as well ascertain aspects of night work, shift work and work rhythm.Once all these provisions have been established, we will carry out achronological overview of the work, as well as its evolution, analyzing theaspects that have been modified through Directive 200/34/EC or repealed byDirective 2003/38/CE, the latter is the one that is currently in force.On the other hand, we will analyze what its transposition has been intoSpanish law and whether or not we have complied with the guidelines set bythe European Union. Without forgetting to mention the relationship of thedirective with the SDG Sustainable Development Goal number 8.
