AB The European Union has become a pioneer in addressing the urgency of combatingcontinued human rights violations and the negative impacts of business activities onthe environment through the Proposed DIRECTIVE OF THE ERUOPEANPALIAMENT AND COUNCIL on due diligence companies in terms of sustainabilityand which modifies Directive (EU) 2019/1937 to minimize and eradicate saidviolations and negative impacts.The purpose of Final Degree Project is to provide a detailed analysis of said DirectiveProposal, also demonstrating its strengths, challenges, and criticisms.
