This situation is being addressed at different levels and with differentregulations, from the Spanish Constitution to European legislation, focusing onDirective 2006/54/EC and its application. In Spain, since the delays suffered beforethe Transition until today, numerous measures have been implemented, such as Law3/2007, for effective equality between men and women, or Law 36/2011, regulatingthe social jurisdiction, which have helped to gradually dissolve gender differences.However, there are still many examples of proposals that could help to continue toachieve an increasingly equitable society.
