AB Socially, there has always been great inequality between men and women in theworkplace. This situation is being addressed at different levels and with differentregulations, from the Spanish Constitution to European legislation, focusing onDirective 2006/54/EC and its application. In Spain, since the delays suffered beforethe Transition until today, numerous measures have been implemented, such as Law3/2007, for effective equality between men and women, or Law 36/2011, regulatingthe social jurisdiction, which have helped to gradually dissolve gender differences.However, there are still many examples of proposals that could help to continue toachieve an increasingly equitable society.
