Volume 1 depict the witch as a monstrous and abject figure that blurs the boundary between human and nonhuman nature. In these works, the witch embodies the chaotic and uncontrollable aspects of the natural world, disrupting conventional boundaries and redefining humanity’s relationship with nature. This portrayal challenges the anthropocentric view that positions the environment as a resource to be dominated and exploited.
