In turn, these practices have highlighted theimportance of e-assessment tools where the collection offeedback is regarded. The consideration of the students’ selfand peer assessment about a project has influence on theirindividual mark. Literature states that e-assessment tools needto consider restrictions in the students’ distribution of scoresduring the self and peer assessment. An emerging technologythat has recently started to be applied in the development ofsoftware tools is Machine Learning. This technology allows thepossibility to implement algorithms that can process thestudents’ feedback about their marks, increasing the efficiencyon the methodology implemented. This paper presents aframework that collects feedback of a survey and translatesthose results in parameter values that will dynamically changethe distribution function of the final individuals’ mark. Theadvantages and restrictions of different solutions for theframework, based on the literature, are also discussed. Finally, there is the presentation of WEBAVALIA, a free software toolwhere the framework will be implemented, improving itsusability, user experience, flexibility, and efficiency.
