It exploresworking women´s perception on digital resources and devicesas working tools and their use. It also assesses differences inusage based on the level of studies and makes a predictiveanalysis about women workers´ assessment, use and purposetypes of digital devices and resources. The study involved threehundred and seven women with secondary studies and anaverage age of thirty-three years. They were randomly selectedfrom the population of workers of a Spanish commercialcompany. The scale Emerging Technological Resources and DigitalCompetence, developed ad hoc, was applied to assess the level ofdigital literacy and the acquisition of digital competence(receiver-consumer and transmitter-creator). The resultsobtained through descriptive analysis, comparison of meansand regression analysis indicate that workers have a mediumlevel of knowledge about emerging technologies, while theirparticipation and use in the work context is more limited. The educational level is a relevant factor in worker’sperception about emerging technologies. Women workers´degree of knowledge, predicts a greater participation and useof devices and resources, what constitutes a satisfaction andsuccess work factor. Some conclusions and implications for thepractice, such as the necessity of expanding and improvingwomen workers´ training, are derived from the study. Thistraining should be intentional and planned so that womenworkers are able to acquire digital competence and benefitfrom the possibilities of digital resources.
