K1 Control K1 Dynamics Systems K1 System Identification K1 Project-based learning AB This paper presents a teaching tool for modelingand control of dynamical systems using the project-based learning approach. This approach allows engineering and basicscience students, develop skills in programming, electronic design,using fundamental physics to model and control complex dynamicsystems. The tool consists of a code generator that automaticallywrites a program for the Arduino board in order to obtain themathematical model of the dynamic system from experimentaldata and implement a suitable controller. This tool was testedin the course of Identification and simulation of Systems, of theUniversidad del Cauca, proving to be a quick and easy tool forstudents learning program in Industrial Automation Engineering.
