T1 Alcances y desafíos de la cooperación académica internacional. El caso del Proyecto VISIR+

AB This article presents the results of a research onthe achievements and challenges of international academiccooperation to contribute to professional training in highereducation. To achieve this goal, it describes relevant aspectsinherent to the modality through a case study focused in amultilateral Project; specifically, the VISIR + Project thatinvolves engineering careers from six Latin American andEuropean countries. Methodologically, it is based on participantobservation in different instances of its implementation (inperson meetings and virtual interchanges). The results allow tosystematize its achievements and challenges, in order to promoteinternational academic cooperation as a fundamental strategyfor the improvement of higher education.
