We used a Design Base ResearchMethodology with Mixed Methods. We started by collectingopinions of users using semistructured interviews. The resultsfrom coding, informed on the construction of a gamifiedprototype, made with Elgg. Then Usability tests were conductedand the data helped refine the subsequent implementation. ASurvey was deployed, Observations were made, and we gatheredsome Analytics. Results are presented congruent to the iterationsand discussed. Some indications for the use of Badges and theimplementation of Gamification are considered.
