Inclusive schools are now being talkedabout, where students are educated according to their individual interests and abilities, whichbenefits attention to diversity. But more and more students with Special Educational SupportNeeds (SSN) are present in the classroom, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD). In order for these students to acquire the knowledge and skills proposed in theircurricular adaptations, new teaching models and methodologies are used, supported by TACs.This paper analyzes the curriculum of the subject Biology and Geology of the first year ofCompulsory Secondary Education at San Juan de la Rambla High School, focusing ondiversity. In addition, improvements are proposed for this programme and an innovativeTeaching Unit is designed for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEE) in the centre, inwhich the importance of protecting and caring for the planet Earth's biodiversity is madeknown.
