AB The objective of this paper is to analyze the effects of the Structural Funds onthe GDP per capita of the regions of the Member States of the European Union.This subject has been widely discussed until now without having reached anacademic consensus. The study covers such effects in the programs 2000-2006, 2007-2013 and the first two years of which is now in force, 2014-2020.Data were collected from more than 250 regions and 2,500 observations. Theresults express a negative and significant impact for all periods.
