K1 Enseñanza secundaría K1 Inglés AB The purpose of this project is to analyze how different materials being used by schools this year apply the European Language Portfolio in their units (PEL from now on). PEL can be a key tool to develop students‟ autonomy at any level, and might be especially useful during Secondary School (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria).In this project we‟ll first analyze the PEL itself and its presence in the "English Language‟ curriculum to proceed with its contents, origins and applications in theclassroom. Likewise, we have passed a questionnaire to different language teachers. We will also analyze two textbooks being used this year in „Foreign Language I‟ and one textbook for „Foreign Language II‟ to analyze to what extent they include PEL contents in their units. Finally, we include a proposal with some alternative/complementaryactivities that can be used in the classroom.
