AB Teaching subjects which involves abstract contents, such as literature, canbecome boring if we let it lay just in putting together a series of concepts, worksand authors. Resorting to use audio visual productions in education helps todepict writers and their works in an attractive light, specially when teaching youngpupils, the so called digital natives. Television series such as El Ministerio delTiempo (Ministry for Time) show several characters in a much intimate way. Suchis the case of Lope de Vega, who has became a recurring character through thethree seasons of the series. This work develops a way of using the televisionshow as a means to bring the so called 'Wit Phoenix' nearer to pupils attendingthe third forms in Secondary School.
