A1 Gil Hernández, Juan Carlos K1 policía portuario K1 evaluación del desempeño K1 variables sociolaborales AB The objective of this research is to know the structure andreliability of the job performance questionnaire of the Police of S/C de Tenerife PortAuthority and to study its social-labour characteristics to determine if there aredifferences in the performance between them. The questionnaire was based on thejob analysis for Harbor Police. It was administered to a population of 84 policemenat the end of each half of 2016. A two-dimensional model with a Cronbach's alphahigher than 0.7 (α1 = .98; α2 = .76) was obtained. To guarantee its applicability,the scores of both factors were averaged, obtaining an alpha for the full scale of.97. Both, the low correlation between the dimensions and correlations higher than.80 between each dimension and overall job performance, support this model.There was no relationship between the behavioral aspect and the outcome one ofthe job performance. Moreover, there were no differences between the police in jobperformance based on age, seniority, number of courses taken, type of contract,generation, port and non-attendance. Despite having obtained a reliableinstrument, it is necessary to validate the evaluators.
