For this reason, this master’s project intends to reinforce the importance of pronunciation in Spanish schools, integrating its teaching within oral activities that allow thestudents to apply the acquired knowledge holistically. In more detail, it seeks to analyse how a communicative approach of the English language is the best procedure to improve both segmental and suprasegmental mispronunciations, aiming for an intelligible outcome of thelanguage. The research examines the situation of pronunciation in a specific Spanish High School, confirming its lack of awareness and thus promoting a renewed approach with the implementation of different pronunciation activities. The optimistic results come to explain the need for a systematic and realistic application, helping both teachers and students in itsincorporation to the English lessons.
