Theresearch was based upon adult learners in an informal teaching context. The results displayedthat the construction of a collaborative story using digital tools can be helpful for thedevelopment of the linguistic competence in the language classroom. Furthermore, it has beenshown that working in cooperative groups has a meaningful impact on motivation and students’involvement. Finally, the results highlighted that it also facilitates peer-to-peer learning andhelps students to develop metalinguistic skills.
