This review isfocused on the effects of positive interventions in positive affect, negative affect, life satisfaction, anxiety and depression. Our analysis found that the variables positive affect, negative affect, anxietyand depression are more easily modifiable compared to life satisfaction. However, effect’s sizes aremedium. Intervention groups indicate better results than the control group. Some researches haverevealed variables that affect the effectiveness of interventions and that it would be appropriate toreview the design of future interventions. Future research should analyse what kind of activities wouldbe more effective in promoting well-being depending on the characteristics of participants.
