To achievethis, we sought the opinions of teachers of both GCSE and Baccalaureate levels in history,geography and history of art, using a questionnaire as the quantitative instrument. Theinvestigation focussed on ascertaining the actual extent to which this subject was encounteredwithin the classroom. That is, whether it is a situation where the institutional elements are aconcept of the bureaucratic machine, or if it is a reality which has emerged within society thathas transferred into education.
