AB The training and capacitation of mediators is one of the aspects that is collected in theSpanish Law for Mediation in Civil and Commercial Matters, which specifies theminimum requirements needed to be able to exercise in the national territory. However,in Spain there isn´t a completely homogeneous teaching profile due to the wide range oflaws in each autonomous community. In this dissertation, the different courses offeredby the University and other institutions accredited to teach Mediation and ConflictResolution were studied following four categories: Psychological content, ConflictResolution content, Legal content and Mediation content. Among the obtained results,one of the main aspects to consider is the little value given to the formation of themediator in the psychological aspect, being one of the contents with least presence inthe curriculum.
