The results show that there is a high accessibility of the technologiesat homes, being related the internet frequency use, video games and mobile with the problemsin the family area. Habits related to the technology of parents influence adolescentconsumption, especially in the case of television. The activities carried out in internet arerelated to entertainment and communication, highlighting the increase in the use of socialmedia at 16 years. Among the gender differences that can be highlighted is the specializationof males in the use of video games and women in the mobile, observing a problematic use inboth cases. The results show a low positive relationship between negative affect, problematicuse of the internet and video games, and academic performance. The conclusions of the workallow to propose lines of action in the tutorial action plan aimed at promoting the responsibleuse of ICT in adolescence.
