AB Objective: Assess the efectivity of physiotherapy techniques on the approach of miofascial pain syndrome on the shoulder, the influence of this condition in the biomechanic and in the ROM of it, as well as the cosequence of MPS in the joint pain. Material & Methods: It was carried out a systematic review about the physiotherapy techniques on the shoulder MPS in the following data bases: Pubmed, PEDro, EBSCO, Scielo, Enfispo, Elsevier (Scopus, Science direct), Medline, Sport Discus, Punto Q de la ULL. There were obtained 11 articles which reached the inclusion and exclusión stablished criteria. Results/ Outcomes: The 11 articles were divided into: 7 randomized clinical trials, 1 original study, 1 case series, 1 single-blind-randomized-controlled-clinical trial, 1 case report. Conclusion: The suggested objectives of this study were verified, after the analysis of different articles, this is to say that the physiotherapy techniques (dry needling, ischemic compression, MTP infiltration, electrotherapy, myofascial reléase and general physiotherapy), were effective regarding to the ROM and biomechanic improvement of the shoulder just like the pain that it presents.
