Una vía desconocida: la transición educativa hacia la Formación Profesional Superior

Abstract

Esta investigación, realizada como Trabajo de Fin de Máster, concretamente el Máster en Formación del Profesorado de la Universidad de La Laguna (en la especialidad de orientación educativa), gira en torno a un estudio exploratorio- descriptivo sobre la transición a la Formación Profesional Superior. Para ello, se analiza la orientación e información que recibe el alumnado respecto a esta formación y las causas que le han impulsado a elegirla, aplicando un instrumento de recogida de información a una muestra de estudiantes de Formación Profesional Superior de tres centros de la isla de Tenerife. Los resultados obtenidos no sólo sirven para comprender la problemática de investigación sino también para llevar a cabo las medidas oportunas.

This investigation, realized as Master’s Thesis, specifically the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training from the University of La Laguna (in the specialty of educational guidance), revolves around an exploratory study on the educational transition to Higher Vocational Training. For this, the guidance and information received by the students regarding this training is analyzed and the causes that have been impelled him to choose it, applying an instrument to collect information to a student sample of Higher Vocational Training over three centers of the Tenerife island. The results achieved are useful to understand the research problem and to carry out the appropriate measures.
