La investigación autobiográfica generadora de procesos autoformativos y de transformación existencial

Abstract

El trabajo trata de exponer cómo la investigación autobiográfica por su carácter específico, además de aportarnos información, genera procesos de autoformación y de transformación existencial importantes en las personas que la realizan. Situamos la investigación autobiográfica dentro de la investigación narrativa y de las historias de vida. Planteamos las características y el proceso de investigación de la misma. Igualmente, aludimos a la autoformación y transformación existencial y extraemos de nuestras investigaciones autobiográficas algunos indicadores y categorías donde pueden verse estos procesos.

This paper tries to make an issue of the following aspects: How the autobiographical research —due to its particular features— provides us with information and brings about processes of self-education, as well as, processes of existential transformation which are both important for the people who are involved in those processes. The autobiographical research is situated within the field of the narrative research and also within the biographical life-stories or «histories de vie». The features and the process of research of that autobiographical work are also considered in this paper. The point of selfeducation and the existential transformation is brought up and considered as well. From our autobiographical researches we draw some outlines/referents and categories within which the previously mentioned processes can be seen.
