No sólo
The existence of projects of eclectic, historistic and avant-garde architecture in numerous
cities during the 1930’ gave rise to a very diverse outlook. Classical tradition buildings
began to coexist in rare armony with other examples which defended new stylistic principles.
The present article analyzes two contrary projects carried out at the same time by both
Nicolás Castro Febles and José Enrique Marrero Regalado in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife)
by commission of Casiano Verano and Gustav Gulde respectively. Not only formal subjects
are referred in this project but any others of different nature, following the consignor considerations,
the project design technician training or its specific location.
