Trabajo social en educación

Abstract

En este artículo se analizará la necesidad de adaptación del sistema educativo a los cambios sociales experimentados en las últimas décadas y a los retos del nuevo milenio. Se verá, también, la contribución de la educación formal, informal y no formal y se examinará el papel educativo de los trabajadores y trabajadoras sociales. Por último, se ofrecerá una descripción de cuáles pueden ser las funciones de estos profesionales en el ámbito de la Educación.

In this article there will be analyzed the need of adjustment of the educational system to the social changes experienced on the last decades and to the challenges of the new millenium. We will see, also, the contribution of the formal, informal and not formal education and there will be examined the educational paper(role) of the social workers. Finally, a description will offer which can be the functions of these professionals in the field of the Education.
