Abstract

Fire safety in buildings or premises where daily activities are carried out is essential when it comes to guaranteeing people and the building itself the necessary protection in case of a fire risk and getting ready to mitígate it. In addition, it must meet minimum standards by regulation today when they are designed, installed and, consequently, have a future maintenance. Therefore, the objective of this study is to know the characteristics of the fire protection and, to be compared with the regulations repealed and in force to discover the limits of the safety against a fire risk and to be able to recommend future improvements that allow users of the building under an adequate security to its use. Besid, the main thing is to describe the building according to what the fire protection regulation establishes and, based on the requirements for the installation, each fire protection equipment will be designed so that its future installation and maintenance is possible. Finally, a budget will be carried out which will lead to a possible economic investment based on what has been studied and reported in this document.
