Léxico relativo a los mercados según la documentación asturleonesa (y castellana) hasta 1230

Abstract

After introducing briefly the concept of market, the author analyses its history from the fall of the Roman Empire to 1230, with special attention to the 10th and 12th centuries and the first half of the 13th century. At the same time, the author studies the types of markets. The medieval taxes in relation with the market, the peace of the market, etc. However, this study is mainly lexicographic, and philological in essence, since the author always departs from texts from the region Asturleonense and, in their absence, Castilian texts.

El autor, después de exponer brevemente el concepto de mercado, analiza su historia desde la caída del Imperio Romano hasta 1230, con especial atención a los siglos X, XI, XII y primera mitad del XIII. Simultáneamente estudia los tipos de mercados, los impuestos medievales relacionados con el mercado, la paz del mercado, etc. Pero se trata de un estudio básicamente lexicográfico y esencialmente filológico, ya que el autor siempre parte de textos asturleoneses y, en su ausencia, castellanos.
