In this work, an electrical installation project will be carried out in a single-family
home using computer software and basing the data on the information provided by the
Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation.
Taking into account current energy efficiency conditions, we will add photovoltaic
and thermal solar energy to generate both electricity and sanitary hot water.
18 panels and two inverters with a production capacity of 5850 W will be installed,
all of them placed on the roof of the house to make the most of the space, in addition a
box will be implemented to protect electrical appliances from inclement weather.
6 interior circuits will be calculated and placed, one for lighting, two for power and
the rest for the kitchen, wet circuits and for both bathrooms. In turn, a new grounding will
be added by placing a two-meter-deep grounding box, near the facilities chute in the
arable land part of the parcel.
A thermosyphon with a capacity of 150 liters will also be mounted with a 50 liter
electric boiler, with this it should be more than enough to supply the 4 members of the
house with hot water, thus providing considerable energy savings.
Finally, a lighting study will be carried out to find out the number of lights to be
placed in each space of the house.
