Las vías jurídicas de incorporación de jóvenes en el mercado laboral

Abstract

In this report I will analyse the different legal channels available to young Spaniards to enter the labour market, as well as the various public programmes implemented by the Spanish Government during all these years to try to curb youth unemployment. To do this, and first, I will make a brief analysis of the data offered by the National Institute of Statistics, and I will highlight the fundamental aspects of labor insertion. Second, I will make a brief route through the training contracts of the Workers' Statute (Contract for Training and Apprenticeship and the Traineeship Contract), and through Dual Vocational Training; Third, I will delve into the Public Employment Programs (Schools Workshop, Trade school and Volunteering); And finally, I will refer to the difficult situation of incorporation of this youth sector into the labor market as a result of COVID-19.

En este informe analizaré las diferentes vías jurídicas que disponen los jóvenes españoles para incorporarse al mercado laboral, así como los diversos programas públicos implantados por el Gobierno español durante todos estos años para tratar de frenar el desempleo juvenil. Para ello, y en primer lugar, haré un breve análisis de los datos ofrecidos por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística, y destacaré los aspectos fundamentales de la inserción laboral. En segundo lugar, haré una breve ruta por los contratos formativos del Estatuto de los Trabajadores (Contrato para la Formación y el Aprendizaje y el Contrato en Prácticas), y por la Formación Profesional Dual; En tercer lugar, profundizaré en los Programas Públicos de Empleo (Escuelas Taller, Casas de Oficios y el Voluntariado); Y finalmente, haré alusión a la difícil situación de incorporación de este sector juvenil en el mercado laboral como consecuencia del COVID-19.
