Parque Eólico Santiago del Teide

Abstract

This project deals with the implementation features of a wind farm of 6,9 MW of installed power in the municipality of Santiago del Teide in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The first point that has been checked out is to find the most suitable location for the facilities. Trying to avoid protected natural areas and trying to introduce the facilities with the consent of the inhabitants. Moreover, trying to put the installation away from the city center as much as possible. As well as looking for their installation in land for agricultural use to not slow down urban development. Once the location has been chosen, the wind characteristics of the area have been studied and how the Enercon E-70 wind turbine of 2,3 MW with a tower height of 85m would behave in those wind conditions then this analysis of the wind conditions will reflect the orientation within the wind turbines will be installed. After this process, the calculations for adaptations to the grid and grounding of the switching facilities and the medium voltage subway line were carried out by selecting the medium voltage facilities to be implemented. Next, the necessary technical documents will be generated for the correct development of the project, including in this section the report, plans, annexes and specifications. Finally, the installation budget for this wind farm will be developed.
