El periodismo de Javier Marías y su aplicación en la educación (bachillerato)

La obra periodística de Javier Marías ha sido menos estudiada que su producción
literaria, pero no por ello tiene menos valor ni interés para los estudios de narrativa. La
investigación que se ha hecho en este análisis ha focalizado su campo de interés en los
aspectos narrativos del texto periodístico de Javier Marías. El presente estudio de sus
características y de su uso en Bachillerato pretende determinar si su estilo y sus columnas
han sido incluidos en los libros de texto usados en este nivel educativo y si cumplen con
las particularidades que dictamina la vigente ley educativa y el currículo de Lengua
Castellana y Literatura para poder ser utilizado en el aula. Tras la lectura de sus artículos
se ha empleado el análisis del discurso de autores tradicionales como Gérard Genette y
contemporáneos como Félix J. Ríos, así como la lectura de otros autores, para desarrollar
este trabajo de fin de máster. Finalmente se ha resuelto que Javier Marías cumple con las
características necesarias para ser incluido como articulista atrayente y singular por sus
columnas periodísticas. Javier Marías' journalistic work has been less studied than his literary production,
but this does not mean that it is less valuable or interesting for narrative studies. The
research done in this analysis has focused on the narrative aspects of Javier Marías'
journalistic text. The present study of its characteristics and its use in High School aims
to determine whether its style and columns have been included in the textbooks used at
this educational level and whether they comply with the particularities dictated by the
current educational law and the Spanish Language and Literature curriculum in order to
be used in the classroom. After reading their articles, the discourse of traditional authors
such as Gérard Genette and contemporary authors such as Félix J. Ríos has been analysed,
as well as the reading of other authors, in order to develop this final master's work. Finally,
it has been decided that Javier Marías fulfils the necessary characteristics to be included
as an attractive and unique columnist.
