El turismo industrial y su aplicación al sector servicios

Abstract

El proyecto que vamos a exponer a continuación se trata de un estudio exhaustivo sobre el turismo industrial y su aplicación al sector servicios. En concreto estudiaremos los servicios más propensos a utilizar el estilo industrial (el urbex), los cuales tienen un gran interés turístico en la actualidad. Una vez hemos realizado este estudio sobre los servicios que se nutren de este tipo de turismo, desarrollamos una propuesta para poder aplicar uno de los servicios anteriormente mencionados a la isla de Tenerife. Para poder hacer esto tenemos que estudiar las zonas de la isla donde exista un flujo de turistas importante y entender cual de ellas es la idónea para poder aplicar nuestra propuesta. Nuestra propuesta final apuesta por crear un centro social y cultural en una infraestructura abandonada (posteriormente rehabilitada) que se encuentra en San Cristóbal de La Laguna, al norte de la isla.

The present project that is going to be expoused is an exahustive research about industrial tourism and its application to the service sector. In particular, this research works on services that are closer to the industrial style (the urbex) due to the fact that they have a great impact on tourism nowadays. Onces we have done this study about services supported by this type tourism, a design is developed in order to apply one of the previous of mentioned services to the island of Tenerife. To carry out this project, it is necessary to analyze the zones in the island with a great number of tourists to select the most appropiate place for the project. The final proposal pretends to create a social and cultural center in a derelict infraestructure (that will be restore afterwards) in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna in the north of the island.
