(Anderson, 2012; Gergen, 2015). This dissertation narrates in first person my experiences with feminism, a theme that has
pierced me strongly in recent years. Starting from the notion of learning from what affects us
(Hernández, 2018), I use the resource of autoethnography (Ellis, Adams and Bochner, 2015) as a
transit that allows me to relate and signify through the writing process those relevant events
accompanied by own and shared reflections on feminism. From this process emerges the idea of
feminism as a polyhedron that affects us in different ways and degrees, drawing an unresolved
situation where, in opposition to the seek of impossible and hegemonic consensus, it is essential
to keep ourselves in continuous dialogue. Thinking that the school can play an important role
there, as a Master in Educational Counseling student I propose two ideas that emanate from what
I have lived: starting from what affects us instead of the postulates in education about feminism
and reinforcing the conviction to continue talking throw the difference, suggesting the figure of
the counselor as facilitator of the dialogue (Anderson, 2012; Gergen, 2015).
