La Ley 35/2015, de 22 de septiembre, de reforma del sistema para la valoración de los daños y perjuicios causados a las personas en accidentes de circulación, entered into force on January 1, 2016 and it is applied to all accidents involving circulation occurred after that date. There are a lot of problematic aspects that revolve around the application of the Law, but in the present work we will concretely analyze the art. 135, which is applicable to determine the compensation for minor injuries of the spine. We will comment on the four criteria of generic causality contained in the precept, which must concur so that the minor trauma of the spinal column caused because of a traffic accident is relevant and, therefore, appropriate compensation. Specifically, we will conduct a more exhaustive study of the intensity criterion, which is the one that has generated the most controversy since the entry into force of Law 35/2015.es_ES
