Coser y contar, las costureras en el carnaval de Tenerife en tiempos de pandemia.

Abstract

Este proyecto de investigación ha tenido como objetivo analizar, teniendo en cuenta la perspectiva de género, qué percepción tienen los Tinerfeños sobre la covid19 relacionado con el Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife y sus ganancias. El término costurera/o y diseñador/a se conforma en un contexto en el que el mercado y el consumo se posicionan como eje central de sustento en la vida de estas personas y también en el de su entorno. Nos centraremos concretamente en el sector textil, en cómo se ha visto afectada la economía de costureras/os y diseñadoras/es por la medida de suspensión del carnaval 2021.

The aim of this research project is the analysis, from a gender perspective, of the perception that Tenerife residents have of the Covid19 in relation to the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and its income. The term "seamstress" and "designer" is shaped in a context in which the market and consumerism are positioned as the central axis ofsupport in the life of support in the everyday life of these people and also in the lives of those around them.We will focus specifically on the textile sector, and how the economy of seamstresses and designers has been affected.
